History

Hope for Asia Bible College and Seminary was founded in 1996 by the Rev. Dr. Oommen George Kutty, and is situated in the town of Vengoor, Quilon, (Dist.), Kerala State, South India.  Kerala is an enchanting stretch of the Arabian Sea.  Coconut trees, idyllic backwaters and friendly people dressed in colorful attire add to the panorama.

Through the missionary vision of Dr. & Mrs. O. George Kutty, the Lord has blessed Hope For Asia Bible College & Seminary with a picturesque campus stretching several acres in the town of Vengoor, near Kottarakkara, in Kerala State.  The lush nature that surrounds the Seminary's campus is an environmentalist's paradise of exquisite splendor and beauty!

The Seminary has the capacity to enroll a total of 150 full-time students.  The existing building facilities comprise of several classrooms, one auditorium for public gatherings, office rooms, dormitories, teachers' and staff's quarters, a library hall, foreign guests' room, President's office, secretary's office, prayer room, and storage facilities.

The Hope for Asia Bible College & Seminary was born of the genuine passions and burden for souls in Dr. & Mrs. O. George Kutty's hearts.  They truly waited on the Lord since 1982 with this vision for the perishing millions in India.  By God's grace, in faith they started the construction project of HFABC&S and the Library for greater research and learning.

Scores of graduates have gone to the mission field, and have harvested thousands of souls in India as a result of Dr. & Mrs. O. George Kutty's obedience to the vision which God has given to them.  Hope for Asia Bible College and Seminary provides full scholarships to all the needy students, and includes their tuition, lodging, food, and other needs.
